Storm Debris Removal

Following the widespread damage caused by Hurricane Helene, Beam Construction was contracted by the State of North Carolina to assist with critical storm debris removal efforts across Avery County and surrounding areas. The project focused specifically on clearing vegetative and man-made debris from local waterways to help restore natural flow and prevent further erosion or flooding.

Working under emergency conditions, our team mobilized quickly to access impacted riverbanks and creek beds, using specialized equipment to remove large downed trees, trash, and debris fields lodged along the waterways. In many cases, access required navigating difficult terrain and working alongside environmental officials to ensure minimal disruption to the ecosystem.

This project reflects Beam Construction’s commitment to community recovery, environmental responsibility, and rapid-response capability when it matters most.
