Camp Ground Expansion

Beam Construction recently completed a mountainside regrading and expansion project for a growing campground in Banner Elk, North Carolina. The job involved extensive earthmoving to reshape and stabilize a steep slope—transforming rugged, uneven terrain into usable space for new campsites, access roads, and utility infrastructure.

Working on a challenging grade, our team executed a full cut-and-fill operation, utilizing heavy equipment to safely and efficiently regrade the mountainside. The project also included erosion control measures, drainage planning, and preparation for future utility installation.

This project showcases Beam Construction’s ability to handle complex terrain and deliver site-ready results that support long-term growth and development in Western North Carolina’s High Country.
